Briefing paper

This Working Together for Better Outcomes briefing paper is based on the ‘Developing an Interdisciplinary Culture of Excellence’ (DICE) project. The DICE project was funded by the James Hutton Institute (UK), and the research was undertaken between 2012 and 2014. This briefing summaries key messages from the DICE research, outlining findings on reasons to practice interdisciplinary research; what counts as IDR; how interdisciplinarity can be supported; and how it can be evaluated.
