Introduction

PanBaRT20 Gene Atlas is a Barley Expression Database that displays gene and transcript abundance data on demand as transcripts per million (TPM) across all samples and all the genes in the PanBaRT20 Reference Transcript Dataset.

This website is based on EoRNA.

You can access data directly by searching for a particular sequence ID or by BLASTing a nucleotide or protein sequence against the Barley Pangenome Project or the PanBaRT20 transcript sequences using the BLAST page. Alternatively, you can use use keywords to search the GO annotations of the translated proteins of the PanBaRT20 transcripts via the Annotation Search page.

Search for a Sequence by ID

Currently PanBaRT20 Gene Atlas contains the transcripts created from the Barley Pangenome Project (publication here).

The predicted genes have nomenclature like "PanBaRT20_chr1HG00055". Transcript models are named after the the gene loci with a number appended, like "PanBaRT20_chr1HG00055.7".

Searching for a gene ID will return all the transcript models from that gene region. You can go directly to a gene or transcript by using this search box:

Annotation Search
Search the annotation of the PanBaRT20 transcripts using keywords. The annotation was created using PANNZER and BLAST.

Transcriptome Comparison
Translate a list of legacy gene IDs to their equivalent genes in other transcriptome datasets, based on their mapped locations on the Barley Pangenome Reference pseudomolecules.
