About

TomatoRTD is a comprehensive reference transcript dataset for potato, developed to improve transcript-level annotation and support gene expression and alternative splicing analyses. It integrates long-read Iso-Seq and short-read RNA-seq data from diverse tissues and experimental conditions to capture a broad range of transcript isoforms. The dataset includes transcript models, transcript sequences, coding predictions and functional annotations, allowing users to explore gene structures, isoform diversity and transcript evidence through the genome browser.

The computational methods and analysis pipeline used to generate PotatoRTD build on approaches established in previous reference transcript dataset studies. For enquiries or further information, please contact Runxuan Zhang at runxuan.zhang@hutton.ac.uk.
