We warmly welcome you to participate in the 5th International Symposium on Plant Apoplastic Barriers (PADiBa), held in Dundee, Scotland from September 13th to 15th, 2022. PADiBa represents a diverse group of researchers who share a fascination in how plants use barriers to survive and thrive. Our symposium will showcase critical biological and chemical processes at these interfaces and explore how their manipulation can help us understand more about plant growth, development and defence, as well as potential avenues to crop improvement. A major objective for PADiBa 2022 is to expand our community and we aim to run an inclusive and diverse programme. Please see below to learn more about our scientific themes, our initial confirmed keynote speakers and about our exciting social programme .
